Before working with Kneehigh, Paul worked as Producer at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, where he set up over 40 productions as well as collaborations with Kneehigh (The Wooden Frock & The Bacchae), Improbable Theatre, Teatre Romea, National Theatre and with commercial & West End producers.
