There are so many channels that it’s impossible to keep up with every food show on TV. How can it be that I’ve just heard about Punkin Chunkin on Discovery Science? For the last 23 years there has been a pumpkin throwing championship held in Delaware. It’s so competitive that participants even grow especially aerodynamic pumpkins. There are lots of categories (adult air, adult centrifugal, etc.) and lots of ways to throw the pumpkin – most use elaborate cannon-like devices. I hope they make lots of pumpkin pies!
