Gustavo Dudamel conducted Mahler's 9th Symphony during the Los Angeles Philharmonic's trip to Venezuela, Dudamel's native country. Brian Lauritzen, host and producer of the LA Phil's concerts on classical KUSC-FM, is just back from Caracas.
