Hosted by

LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy has dismissed a vote of no-confidence from the teachers' union as "nonsense." He's happy that a poll of civic groups is supportive of his reforms. But that's just part of the story.  How did the no-confidence vote get started?  What does it mean for the kids? We hear from teachers on both sides of the vote who may agree with each other more than they disagree. Also, is Kobe Bryant's torn Achilles tendon the end of an era?
