Preparing for El Niño

Hosted by

What are predicted to be the strongest El Niño-generated storms on record are only weeks away and FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, says it's time to get ready. It's focused on infrastructure, including bridges and levees. Local officials are taking their own measures; the City of LA just might suspend trash pickups when the rain is coming in torrents.

Also on tonight's program, Governor Brown at the Paris summit on climate change: 20 events in five days to advocate against fossil fuels and for California's green industry — not to mention his own legacy.
