Nineteen People Indicted in Massive Mortgage Fraud Case
From New York to California, FBI and IRS agents had the sad task of telling victims of mortgage fraud they’d lost their homes—to people who claimed they were protecting them from foreclosure. In Sacramento, federal prosecutors said 19 people have been indicted in a case of what the US Attorney calls “unmitigated greed.”
