Some teachers are required to show up on time, clock in -- and spend the day doing nothing — sometimes for 6 months or more than a year. We talk to an inmate of what's called "teacher jail," the subject of organized protests against LA Unified. Why has the "jail" population increased in recent years? Also, will the School Board appoint a replacement for the late Marguerite Poindexter LaMotte or hold a special election? And unionized deputy sheriffs call federal charges part of an FBI "vendetta."

On our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, police in Ukraine used force against peaceful protesters today in what's become that country's worst crisis since the Orange Revolution of 2004. Secretary of State Kerry says the US is "disgusted." Is it really about a contest between the European Union and Russia? What's the role of Ukrainian oligarchs?
