Which Way, L.A.?

June 1998 Initiatives

Election season is open and once again, Californian's face a large number of initiatives on the June ballot. WWLA looks at Prop 226 and 223. Prop 226 requires employers and unions to get specific permission from employees and members before using their contributions for political lobbying. Prop 223 governs school spending - it would limit administrative spending to 5% of revenues.
