Kidnapping of Iranian-American Journalist Hits Home

Jason Rezaian is of Iranian descent, born and raised in California. He’s now a reporter for the Washington Post who has been assigned to Iran. Three weeks ago, he was detained, along with his journalist wife and two other reporters, with no explanation.

Jason Rezaian is of Iranian descent, born and raised in California. He’s now a reporter for the Washington Post who has been assigned to Iran. Three weeks ago, he was detained, along with his journalist wife and two other reporters, with no explanation. Reza Aslan is also Iranian-American, a Professor at UC Riverside and founder of Aslan Media, a social media network for news about the Middle East.
