The Internet shopping giant Amazon may have a surprise for retail customers. Famous for driving traditional bookstores out of business, last year Amazon opened its own brick-and-mortar outlet in Seattle. Now, it appears to be planning a chain of stores for customers who want to walk in and thumb through the pages.
