Since leaving the White House in 1981, former President Jimmy Carter has written 28 books and won the Nobel Peace Prize for working to solve international conflicts. Now he's focused on women's rights. At a conference on civil rights last night in Austin, Texas, Carter spoke about the mistreatment of women and girls as the next front in the civil rights movements. That's the subject of his latest book, A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence and Power.
