Amy Chua has become famous as author of Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, especially after the Wall Street Journal published an excerpt titled, "Why Chinese Mothers are Superior." She's also a professor at Yale Law School and author of previous books called World on Fire: How Exporting Free Market Democracy Breeds Ethnic Hatred and, Global Instability and Day of Empire: How Hyperpowers Rise to Global Dominance—and Why They Fail.
