Human Trafficking: The Dark Side of the Super Bowl

As the Bay Area prepares to host this weekend's NFL showdown between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, there's possible new evidence of a "dark side" to the Super Bowl. Increased advertising for "escort services" and "female companionship" on various websites may demonstrate that the game is linked to human trafficking.

As the Bay Area prepares to host this weekend's NFL showdown between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, there's possible new evidence of a "dark side" to the Super Bowl. Increased advertising for "escort services" and "female companionship" on various websites may demonstrate that the game is linked to human trafficking. Law enforcement says tracking those sites will help bring victims out of the shadows.
