Israelis Pull Out after a Two-Day Military Operation in Gaza

Israel pulled out of northern Gaza today, in time for tomorrow's visit by Condoleezza Rice.  But Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says the military operation is not over.  Steve Erlanger is Jerusalem Bureau Chief for the New York Times.
