More than two weeks ago a Nigerian militant group known as Boko Haram kidnapped 237 girls from a state school in the northern part of the country. So far the government hasn't been able to rescue the teenagers. Now there are rumors of mass marriages of the girls to their captors. This is just one of a series of attacks on schools and villages over the past five years of insurgency in the region.
