Meanwhile, a new multimedia series for Capital & Main launched this week, in a cross-California analysis of poverty and an increasing income gap between the neediest and the wealthiest of the Golden State. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis spoke with Maria Bustillos, a journalist and contributor to the New Yorker and Harpers magazines, and Joe Mathews, California Columnist for Zocalo Public Square.
