The issues motivating voters in this election are wide-ranging and personal. It’s easy to forget that when we spend so much time talking about the horse race. So we asked two listeners to talk about the issues that divide us.

Blue State host’ Chery Glaser talks with Linda Rife and Deana Samms.

Linda is a music composer in Orange County. She identifies as ‘liberal’, but she’s registered as an independent.

Deana is a family therapist and an Evangelical Christian. She voted for Donald Trump in 2016 but struggled with that decision.
