Once again, the police shooting of an unarmed man is making news -- this time, in Los Angeles. The LAPD has scheduled a community meeting in Venice tonight to answer questions about the shooting of Brandon Glenn, a homeless man in Venice. Glenn was black, and so is the officer who allegedly shot him. But in the past year, thousands of activists around the country have taken to the streets to protest police shootings of unarmed African-American men. One of the remarkable aspects of the protests is how they’ve spread through social media.
