July was the hottest month since scientists began keeping records. This year is on track to be the hottest year yet. And now NASA is saying that the planet is warming at a pace unprecedented in the last thousand years. Well, California is working to fight that. But it’s going to take a lot more than just putting solar panels on every roof. A new law mandates an additional 40 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in the state by 2030.
