On our weekly movie segment, we review a new remake of “Ben-Hur” from an inventive Russian director, and a new animated film from upstart Portland studio Laika called “Kubo and the Two Strings.” Plus, we review “Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World,” a new documentary from Werner Herzog, and “War Dogs,” a comedy about two guys who get a big Pentagon contract, starring Jonah Hill.
