LA has new rules for Airbnb

There are new rules around so-called “short-term rentals,” like the ones on Airbnb. After almost four years of debate and discussion, the LA City Council finally passed the regulations on Tuesday. They go into effect in July. Until now, short-term rentals have been pretty much unchecked in the city.
