The Justice Department moved to block a group in Philadelphia from opening a center where people who inject drugs like heroin or fentanyl could do so under medical supervision -- known as a safe injection site. Also, the Supreme Court put on hold a Louisiana law that requires doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at local hospitals. Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the court’s four liberal justices to put the law on hold for now.
