This summer, the ice around the world has been disappearing fast under record heat. In one day, 13 billion tons of ice melted.

In Iceland lost, an entire glacier has died. There was a funeral for it on Sunday. Andri Snaer Magnason wrote the official obituary for the glacier. It’s now mounted on a plaque where the glacier used to stand.
