The immediate future of college sports is uncertain. The University of Connecticut announced today that they’ll be cancelling their football season entirely. They’re arguably the biggest school to cancel the season so far.
But most universities are trying to figure out some way to keep their football season alive, and players are getting worried.
More than a dozen college football players from the Pac-12 Conference signed a statement threatening to boycott the coming fall training camp and following games unless their concerns are addressed by the NCAA. The issues range from covering players’ medical expenses to pay cuts for sports administrators and coaches.
