When Samsung, Apple or Sony need to build parts for a smartphone or a computer, they often turn to factories in Malaysia. And workers from poorer countries like Nepal, Myanmar and Vietnam flock there for these relatively lucrative jobs. But the electronics factory hub has a dark side: a new study shows about a third of these migrant workers are doing their jobs under coercion.
