LA’s Fanny is critically praised but largely forgotten

Fanny is the first all-female rock band signed to a major label. They started in LA. David Bowie once called them “one of the most important female bands in American rock.” Writer Dylan Rupert spent time with Fanny for season two of KCRW’s Lost Notes.
