There’s a proposal to build some 20,000 new affordable homes in a new town filled with shops and services. The LA County Planning Commission will consider the plan for Tejon Ranch on Wednesday. It would be a private development near the grapevine -- just across from the Los Padres National Forest, which is currently home to mountain lions, black bears, elk and wildflowers.
