Tensions are running high in Israel and the West Bank today as Israelis and Palestinians alike mourn the deaths of teenagers from each group. American teenager Tariq Abu Khdeir says he was beaten by Israeli police as he protested the killing of his 16-year-old Palestinian cousin in the West Bank. Tariq’s cousin was kidnapped and burned to death last week. The murder is said to be a revenge killing after the bodies of three Israeli teengagers were found in a West Bank field. Now, Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israel increased over the weekend. And an Israeli airstrike killed 8 people in Gaza.
