Hundreds of people in Sacramento on Thursday called for justice for 22-year-old Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man who was shot and killed by police. The Sacramento Police Department released a video of the shooting, which showed officers responding to a 911 call about someone breaking car windows and eventually confronting Clark in his grandparents’ backyard. The officers claim they saw an object in Clark’s hand and fired about 20 shots. The only object found at the scene was a cell phone.
