The Southland’s apocalyptic weekend began on Friday when people had to abandon their cars on the 15 freeway because a brush fire was bearing down. News helicopters captured the scene— but there were other aircraft actually getting in the way of fire fighting planes: private drones. It’s the fifth time in a month that this has happened.
