Chris O’Dowd is known for playing the nice guy. You might remember him as the the friendly Irish cop in “Bridesmaids.” But in the new film “Love After Love,” O’Dowd’s character is dealing with the death of his father. In his grief, he lashes out at the people he loves most, including his mother, played by Andie MacDowell. It hits theaters today.
