As fires rage in the Amazon, the world’s richest countries pledge $20 million to help (but not the U.S.)

The three-day G7 summit ended today with not much to show for it. The most significant accomplishment was a pledge of $20 million to fight the fires in the Amazon jungle. That fund includes no money from the U.S. President Trump skipped the meeting on the crisis in the Amazon and climate change.
