Legendary funkmeister Leo Nocentelli started out by backing Otis Redding when he was just 14 and went on to become an original member of The Meters, penning hits like “Cissy Strut” and the Mardi Gras anthem “Fire On The Bayou.” But Nocentelli also recorded an album in the early ‘70s that was believed to be lost forever — until now. “Another Side” was recorded in New Orleans, lost in Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and found over a decade later in a swap meet in Southern California. Today we’re lucky to hear what we can consider a timeless classic by a giant, “Give Me Back My Loving.”
