Tokyo-born, London-based electronic musician Masaaki Yoshida goes by the moniker Anchorsong. The music blends catchy, melodic phrasing and beats with vintage African sounds. Anchorsong spent two years in Japan while working on his record, Ceremonial, and it reflects his homeland as much as it does his explorations of African beats, which we can hear on Today's Top Tune, "Butterflies."
