Alex Chilton found success early on in his career as the lead singer for the 60's teen group The Box Tops and later became one of rock's most revered cult figures as the front-man for groundbreaking power pop band Big Star. He's often sited as an influence for many of today's rock stars. Today's Top Tune is from 1970, it comes from sessions recorded for his first solo release it's called "
