Herb Alpert released his debut album, The Lonely Bull, in 1962. Forty-nine albums later, the title of his latest record marks the milestone proudly. It's simply titled 50.

Alongside Jerry Moss, Alpert was the co-founder of A&M Records. He's also a painter and sculptor.

In today's conversation, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, Grammy and Tony Award-winning musician joins us to talk about making his 50th album, his relentless work ethic, and stories from his life as a record producer.
