“Let’s Go Back,” a new(ish) Jungle single, with its relaxed grooves and vintage-y feel, makes the jump from no. 2 last week, to no. 1 this week. This should come as no surprise as the UK group is among our favorite purveyors of fine soul sounds. And with a rapidly approaching Hollywood Bowl show on the horizon, it’s no wonder KCRW DJs keep coming back for more of this feel-good track.
New and notable: “Instrumental trio LA LOM takes listeners through mid-century renditions of Latin genres like cumbia and bolero, with a touch of country twang and retro soul,” writes KCRW’s Danielle Chiriguayo in a profile for Press Play. Listen and learn more by checking out the full piece here.
