Jamie xx’s In Waves is making waves indeed. From the early-in-the-week final single drop of “Waited All Night” (a track featuring both of his xx bandmates), to the full album release on Friday, Sept. 20 — In Waves has owned the KCRW airwaves lately.

New and notable: “Sylvester live at the opera house is so fun,” says Morning Becomes Eclectic host Novena Carmel. “He always had dreams of performing at an opera and you can feel his joy.” We couldn’t have said it any better and the 15 minute version of his signature song “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” is an absolute must.
