Now that we’ve had a moment to sit with “Peaceful Place,” Leon Bridges’ zen-inducing lead single ahead of his forthcoming LP Leon, we’re finding that its gentle rhythms and soul-stirring melody sound better upon each new spin. It’s not surprising to see it jump from number three to number one. It’s only slightly surprising that it took a week and a half for it to happen.

New and notable: LA disco duo Classixx are on a roll. Just a month after their black glitter-coated remix of Nation of Language’s “Weak In Your Light,” comes their pulsating new original — “Get Myself Together.”
