We’ve got serious spice for your Friday as we celebrate two major milestones: the release of Kendrick Lamar’s highly-anticipated album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,” and the 72nd birthday of the man who needs no introduction, Stevie Wonder. A delightful sprinkling of rarities, remixes, covers, and classics find their way throughout the show, including Stevie’s Spanish version of “My Cheri Amour” titled “Mi querido amor,” and his 2008 feature on Raphael Saadiq’s “Never Give You Up.”

Off the bat, Kendrick beautifully delivers bold and brilliant revelations on “Auntie Diaries” “and “Mother I Sober.”

Plus, we hear “How Long” from The Black Keys’ newest album “Dropout Boogie” and one from ”A Light for Attracting Attention,” the new album from The Smile, composed of Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood with Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner. All the musical giants are out to play for your New Music Friday!
