Fanatic! I don’t mind being cool or cold but I don’t mind being warm to hot either. So, no air-conditioning for me. My place is baking. I’m listening to Fuzz II at the moment and it’s perfect.

A few things I wanted to remind you of.

1. Next Sunday, that’s August 18, we will have John Dwyer in the studio and we will be playing the new Oh Sees album Face Stabber from start to finish.

2. The Sweet Knives double 7” is out now and it’s great.

3. Hammered Hulls with Alec MacKaye, Mary Timony, Chris Wilson and Mark Cisneros has their first record out, a three track 7” on Dischord. Another great 2019 release.

4. The Skull Practitioners vinyl has landed at In The Red. Excellent record.

5. Ty Segall’s new album First Taste is amazing.

I just got back from shows in Germany and England. In London I visited with our good pal and sonic ally, Mr. Segs of the Ruts. He was in fine form.

A great show in place for you here. It’s hot where we are, so we made the playlist accordingly.
