Fanatic! Happy August to you. Over the years, August has become my second favorite month, next to October.

What we have here for you, Fanatic, is what looks to be a great two hours of warm weather listening. I thought it was the right thing to do putting both sides of the great Hendrix singles on our show. Both songs are so great, it seemed that it would be the right thing to do.

A few nights ago, I saw Ty Segall play at the Griffin. Wand was his band. Is that cool, or what? It was strong, too. I have never seen that guy turn in a bad show or put in a bad album.

I have been working on all the August shows at once, trying to create a 5 Sunday sweeping epic! Trying to put all these together along with listening to all the new stuff coming in, I have had my work cut out for me but how bad is that, really?
