Timbuk3 accidentally tripped over the zeitgeist with their widely misunderstood 1986 hit, “The Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades.” But the husband-and-wife duo of Pat MacDonald and Barbara K. found a smarter and more simpatico audience in Deirdre and her listeners.

They came to SNAP in 1988 with a clutch of songs from their second album, “Eden Alley,” released that same year.
