Harold Budd

Iconic pianist and ambient composer Harold Budd was a firm fixture on Deirdre’s playlists from the very beginning. Best known for his creative association with Brian Eno, Budd dropped in on Deirdre a few weeks after the release of their landmark collaboration, “The Pearl,” in September of 1984. 

In this affectionate and wide-ranging guest DJ set, Deirdre and Budd discuss his relationship with Eno, his reluctance around live performance, and his enduring love of Waylon Jennings.
