Zulu Winter was one of my highlights of this year’s SXSW Music Conference and they are making my favorite track available as a free download today!

Stream “Silver Tongue” below and grab it here.

They hail from Oxfordshire, England and the Brits’ debut album “Language” will be out on June 19 on Arts & Crafts. The songs I’ve heard are gloriously poppy but smart not saccharine. There’s an epic feel, hinting that they could have the appeal of a band like Coldplay.

They certainly have a live show worth watching. It’s hard to keep your eyes off singer Will Daunt, who hovers at the very front of the stage and gives it everything he has. He’s a performer in the best sense of the word. Will told me at SXSW that U.S. tour dates are in the works so I’m hoping to hear about those soon. (He also mentioned that we should all grab beers when the band hits LA…hope he meant it.)
