I tuned in to DJ Garth Trinidad’s show one night and he was playing this jazz track that felt like the perfect soundtrack to driving around the streets of Hollywood.
I found out it was from The Afro Soul-Tet’s album “Afrodesia,”originally recorded between 1968-1971 and recently re-released on Ubiquity Records.

The album was barely noticed when it was originally released, but has proved to be timeless. Ubiquity has delivered a brand new pressing so now you can enjoy The Afro Soul-Tet’s mix of Latin Jazz, straight jazz, worldly percussion, surf, rock, funk and more. Enjoy!
