While everyone gears up for SoCal’s premiere music festival Coachella, the line up for Outside Lands – held in August at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park – has been announced.

I went the very first year of the festival and was really impressed. I saw lots of bands I knew little about but fell in love with on the spot (Black Mountain, The Walkmen) and was wowed by performances from Bon Iver, Regina Spektor, Radiohead and more. I haven’t made it back since – mostly because it’s so close to KCRW’s summer pledge drive – but this year the lineup might be irresistible.

The highlights: Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Beirut, The Decemberists, MGMT, Little Dragon, Muse, Phish and more.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 14 at noon. View the lineup below and find out more here
