LP Giobbi – “Until There’s Nothing Left”

Here’s one for these heady, hazy dog-days. Reimagining Alabama Shakes’ 2015 hit “Don’t Wanna Fight” as a glittering, ascendant, and rave-worthy dance track — this single is your summer salvation. Leah Chisholm makes electronic music as LP Giobbi, but her accomplished musical background is as a jazz pianist (true heads know her as the Piano House Queen). Click play for traces of her expertise in keys peeking through emotionally resonant electronic production, and dance until there’s nothing left.

Bryan Ferry – “Star (Feat. Amelia Barratt)”

Keep the post-Burning Man vibes alive with this hypnotic electronic track, tailor-made for late-night urban stalking. And when it comes to that scene, this moody single is a collaboration with some of the best to ever do it: Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, of Nine Inch Nails (and some of our favorite-ever film scores). But let’s not bury the lead: “Star” is Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry’s first new music in a decade. Click play for blue-hued, pulsing beats and Amelia Barratt’s cool, chanting vocals.

TOKiMONSTA – “On Sum (Feat. Anderson .Paak & Rae Khalil)”

Rinse and repeat this new track from beloved LA producer TOKiMONSTA. It’s a nice ‘n’ frothy collaboration with mega-talented singer and drummer Anderson .Paak and achingly-cool vocalist (and frequent .Paak collaborator) Rae Khalil, who each contribute standout vocals in their signature styles. The result is a three-way kickback blend that’ll have you asking for your invite.

Samora Pinderhughes – “Drown”

Switch gears to pure poetry with this evocative, rule-bending track from Bay Area artist Samora Pinderhughes. Featuring a unique lyrical structure, lean-in vocal style, and a restrained piano + strings instrumental arrangement; this beautiful track and its arthouse music video will dig deep into your heart, and possibly your tear ducts. Don’t be shy about it, crying’s on the docket: Pinderhughes’ full album VENUS Smiles Not in the House of Tears is due on Oct. 18.

Angélica Garcia – “Paloma”

LA-born singer-songwriter Angélica Garcia has music in her blood. The daughter of 1990s mononymous latin-pop star Angelica, Garcia applied the star-worthy power of her own voice to studying jazz vocals (even performing at the world famous Monterey Jazz Fest) before developing the latin sound heard on this reggaeton-beat driven single. Sensual, full-bodied, and decorated with funky electronic twinges and momentary vocalizations calling to mind classical Hindustani music — this single will stop you in your tracks.
