KCRW’s The Cue in an Online Music Channel on YouTube.

Jason Bentley is back on The Cue to share his “music video hot sheet.” See brand new favorites the likes of a solo project from Jack White, as well as new music videos from The Shins, Nada Surf, M. Ward, and Ane Brun.

Hit play below and stick around for about 23 minutes of music discovery on YouTube. Not only will you get the nostalgic vibe of early MTV, but you have the ability to click right through to final selections by navigating through the horizontal playlist at display the bottom of the player. (Just hit play and then locate the little screen icon at the far left of the icons along the bottom right.)

The Cue launched in February with an introduction by Music Director and Morning Becomes Eclectic host Jason Bentley, who shared under-the-radar online ephemera and his favorite Morning Becomes Eclectic performances in the first two episodes. Newly released playlists include a selection of criminally overlooked gems from DJ Eric J Lawrence, a dip into LA’s club scene with DJ Valida, quintessential California songs from DJ Anne Litt, visually inspiring sounds from Anthony Valadez, music that makes you want to dance – and cry – from DJ Mario Cotto. Next, Raul Campos tipped viewers off to music videos young celebrities – before they were famous, and Marion Hodges presented some “not-so-obvious” 80s videos.
