We’ve already “revisted” U2’s “Achtung Baby” in celebration of its 20th birthday. Turns out, we’re not the only ones celebrating the pop masterpiece. Jack White has recorded an intense bluesy version of the album’s closer “Love is Blindness”. It catches my ear every time Jason Bentley plays it. Jack’s version is so raw and fierce that it’s hard to imagine it ever was a U2 song.

The song is on a tribute album put together by Q Magazine that also features Depeche Mode, Patti Smith, and more. Check out the tracklist over at Consequence of Sound.
